Flypaper theory. George Bush: We are fighting these terrorists with our military in Afghanistan and Iraq and beyond so we do not have to face them in the streets of our own cities.

Every time Dubya opens his mouth, he demonstrates yet another flaw in human thinking. His blather about "flypaper" illustrates using a trivial metaphor with a nontrivial situation.
Literal flypaper doesn't generate countless numbers of new flies, nor does it educate them in combat. For that matter, flies don't blow up human beings; I wonder how the families of terror victims feel about Dubya's implication that their loved ones' deaths were just a fly-level annoyance?
